Our Vision

Cohort Productions develops completed, original screenplays that are both rich in content and the product of effective story telling. If you have a semi-completed project, COHORT can help fully package it so that it can be produced and distributed. Cohort will contact sales agents, distributors, actors, directors and their agents and create a full package ready for financing. We aim to help you turn your screenplay and film project into a commercial success.

Cohort's resources will focus on packaging, production and distribution. Our emphasis will be on good storytelling - with a message that will lift viewers spirits by making them think and react to the emotional forces within, and around them. Cohort's films seek to enchant, inform, inspire and entertain their viewers.

Cohort is particularly interested in films that are character driven. Demand for character driven films is growing as mainstream and independent films continue to be filled with unnecessary violence. Well crafted character driven films, whether they be inspiring dramas, romances, or high end to low end comedies, provide entertainment that everyone can watch together.

Additionally, story based films perform well on television and in home video, because viewers love to watch their favorite movies over and over. There is also a higher level of repeat rentals for character driven titles, and a much higher percentage of home video purchasers. Most of the best selling home videos of all time are movies directed the general public rather than film aficionados.
